CONDUCTOR AND MUSIC DIRECTOR
Maestro David R. Anavitarte, serves as Conductor and Music Director of the Brazos Chamber Orchestra.  Mr. Anavitarte is currently a DMA Conducting student in the School of Church Music at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas.

He is Director of Choirs and Assistant Professor of Music at Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas.  He serves as Music Director and Organist at First United Methodist Church in Cleburne, Texas.  Mr. Anavitarte has studied conducting privately with the following conductors:

Maestro C. David Keith, Conducts the Fort Worth Chamber Orchestra and is the Music Director of the Fort Worth Symphony Chorus.  He is Professor of Conducting and Music Director of the Oratorio Chorus in the School of Church Music at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas.

Maestro A. Joseph King, is Associate Dean of the Performance Division, Chairman of the Conducting Department, Professor of Conducting and Music Director of the Southwestern Singers in the School of Church Music at Southwestern Bapist Theological Seminary.  Fort Worth, Texas.

Maestro Daryl One, Conductor and Music Director of the Modesto Symphony Orchestra and the Victoria Symphony Orchestra.

Maestro Jon Robertson, Conductor and Music Director of the Redlands Symphony Orchestra.  Maestro Robertson presides as Chairman of the Music Department, Professor of Conducting and Director of Orchestras at University of California Los Angles.

David and Kathy have been married since 1982.  They have two children, Donielle and Devin.  Their family enjoys camping, traveling and singing together!
